Boating & Boat Rentals

Whether you are bringing your own boat or need to rent
one, we have what you need. Launch your boat on a smooth concrete ramp that's just 200
feet from our docks. There is an illuminated asphalt parking lot if you wish to park near
the ramp. Included with your cottage rental is your choice of a stall for your boat, or a
14-16 foot aluminum boat with life jackets, and throw cushion. We will launch your boat
for you if you wish. Extra boats, outboard motors, or trolling motors can be rented.

you how easy it is. You'll soon discover that boats are good for far more than fishing and
water skiing!
A pontoon or deck boat makes a great discovery and
relaxation platform. Ask us how to enjoy the lake with a boat and we'll give you some
pointers! Rent one of our deck boats and explore the lake. There are thousands of
public lands all around the lake's shoreline. You can fish, photograph, and explore from a
deck boat and cover more area in a day than by any other means.
Our Docks
Bull Shoals Lake Resort's all metal visitor docks are the newest and largest resort docks
on the lake. We have a brand new 8 stall dock with 11 foot wide individual stalls that
are 28 feet deep with a 2 foot overhang. The 8 stall dock also has an 8 x 24 foot
swim/fishing dock attached and a fish cleaning station.
Our second metal dock, built in 2001, has 6 slips with 10 foot wide individual stalls that
are 20 feet deep with a 2 foot overhang. This dock also has a fish cleaning station.
Our third dock is an older wooden dock with 4 stalls, it houses our aluminum boats. This
dock also has a 10 x 20 foot swim/fishing dock.
Our 28 foot party pontoon gets you to some of the best spots
on the lake!

Reservation Policy
Reservations with deposits are
required. A 5 night minimum stay is required during high season.
Deposits are due
within 7 days of making your reservation. Reservations for units 1 through 6, and units 8
through 17 require a $100 deposit. Reservations for unit 7 requires a $200 deposit, unit
18 requires a $300 deposit, and units 19 and 20 each require a $400 deposit.
Cancellations & Refunds
To avoid any misunderstanding
please note that you will be charged for all of the days you reserve unless:
1. Refunds will be made if we receive your cancellation notice 30 days prior to your
reservation period for all except 3 bedroom units.
2. The 3 bedroom units require a 60 day
notice. If reservations are cancelled within 30 days, a refund, less a $10 processing fee,
will be made if your reserved cottage is re-rented to another party.
Check In - Check Out Times
Summer check in time is 3:00pm, check out time is 9:00am. Fall through Spring
arrival and departure times can be modified, however they must be arranged in advance with
the office.
| Pet Policy |
| 1. Pet Fee Required Pets are
allowed at a cost of $10 per pet per day. Failure to notify our office before arrival will
double your fee. Pets are not allowed in all cabins. Some breeds are not allowed at all. |
| 2. Kennel Required Animals left
unattended must be kept in a kennel when inside your unit. We love dogs and cats
too, but you will be charged for damages to carpet, furniture, bedding, towels, etc.
Example: We had the sweetest little dog shred a couch while left alone. The dog's owner
had brought a kennel, but did not think they needed to use it. When left alone in a
strange place pets do things they normally would not do at home. This is why we have a
kennel policy. |
| 3. Dog Waste Removal Required
You are responsible for your dog's waste. If you need extra bags for waste,
ask in the office. If anyone on our staff notices you did not pick up your dog's waste
there will be an automatic additional $100 charge to you. We believe that none of
our guests should need to worry about stepping in, or tracking dog waste into their unit.
We are sorry if this sounds harsh, but we had an unfortunate incident at the resort
involving irresponsible pet owners that resulted in an unpleasant stay for several other
guests. If pet owners do not follow this simple and courteous task, they will not be
welcomed back. Our guests walk and explore the entire resort grounds, and children are
running and playing on the entire grounds too. Our good neighbors up the road from the
resort grounds have also complained about our guests allowing their dogs to use their
yards without picking up the waste. Dog waste also attracts vermin to the property. So
even if your dog seems to be in an out-of-way area, you will still need to pick up all
waste. We love dogs, we have our own dog, and we always walk with a bag. |
| 4. Leashing Required Dogs must
be with you and on a leash at all times when outdoors. No exceptions. Dogs are not allowed
to be staked outside. |
| 5. No Visiting Allowed If
you are at a cabin where no pets are allowed, or if you did not bring a pet and someone in
your group has a pet at another cabin, the pet is NOT allowed in your cabin at any time or
you will be charged a fee. |
Smoking
Policy
Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 19, and 20 are non-smoking cabins. Pipe and cigar
smoking is not permitted in ANY cabin. For your comfort, all of our other units are
cleaned to remove tobacco odor. We charge an extra fee to clean smoke odor from rooms.
Housekeeping
Cabins
To keep prices down, we rent our cabins as housekeeping
cabins. You will be responsible for washing your dishes, sweeping the floors, etc. and
bringing your dirty towels to the office for exchange. Sheets are not exchanged during the
week.
We provide a towel exchange program for our High Season (Summer)
guests. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM guests may bring our
dirty towels, wash rags, etc. to the office in the plastic laundry basket provided.
Our Low Season guests, who arrive at various times, may exchange
towels every other day. Monthly guests will be provided two sets of sheets and towels (if
requested) and are responsible for laundering these supplies.
We offer pick up service at the
Baxter County Regional Airport for our guests arriving by air.
