Lake or river fishing, we're ready to assist you catch
your limit. Our docks have complete fish cleaning stations. We'll give you free freezer
space to preserve your catch until you're ready to return home.
Fishing on Bull Shoals lake is good almost all year,
but the best action occurs in March, April, and May. It slows in hot weather, then picks
up again in the cooler fall months. Largemouth, smallmouth, and Kentucky bass are the
primary sportfish. Bull Shoals also has an excellent population of walleye and crappie.
When it comes to river fishing you have a choice of
fishing for four species of trout -rainbow, cutthroat, brown, and brook - in the White and
North Fork Rivers. These two premier trout fishing rivers are some of the best in the
world. Indeed several World Line Class records have been set on the White and North Fork,
including two of the three largest brown trout ever caught anywhere in the world!

If you want a swimming pool for your children, we have
not one, but TWO swimming pools. Our upper
swimming pool, shown above, also has a lake view and is right outside units 5, 6, 7, and
8. The one in the photo below is the lower pool, which is close
to units 11- 15.

Quiet Grounds

There are two important aspects to our
property. One is its central area location. The other is its quiet setting. We are on a
point at the end of a paved road. Our property borders the government strip around the
lake. The result is you'll not see any other buildings from the resort property. When you
look out across the lake all you see is Ozark forests. Around the cottages are several
hardwoods keeping cottages well shaded. If you enjoy quiet lakeside hikes you can easy do
so from your cottage right around the resort.
Convenient Central Location
One of our greatest assets is one you can't see. But if you travel to area attractions,
you'll feel it! Our location is very central to all this part of the Ozarks has to offer.
We are located on the Howard Creek arm of Bull Shoals Lake in the town of Lakeview. Travel
10 minutes west and you'll be in the city of Bull Shoals where you'll find several good
restaurants, groceries, access to White River fishing, 18 hole golf, and several other
area attractions.

Travel 10 minutes east and you'll be in the city of Mountain Home, Arkansas where you will
find many more restaurants, movies, two 18 hole golf courses, the World's largest
Wal-Mart, shopping, groceries, and several more area attractions.

If you travel an hour in either
direction you'll find the best of outdoor activities of all kinds: canoeing, horseback
riding, day hikes on a wide variety of trails, 20 miles of stacked looped mountain bike
and hiking trails, deep forests and creeks where you can find plentiful biodiversity, and
a long list of other area attractions. Here's a few more ideas:
Two Hours North
Two hours to the northwest is the City of Springfield, Missouri. There you'll find the
home of the 300,000 square foot Bass Pro Shop's Outdoor World, and just down the street is
the new Wonders of Wildlife featuring live animals from the Ozarks and around the world.
Two hours to the north you can also
enjoy America's Live Music Capital, Branson, Missouri. Branson also has several shopping
malls and Silver Dollar City, a theme park with rides, food, stage shows, and old-time
craft stores.
Two Hours West
Two hours to the west is the town of Eureka Springs, an 1890's health spa city with enough
antiques and craft stores to fill a day's worth of shopping.
One Hour South
Mountain View, Arkansas is about 1.5 hours away to the south. There you'll discover live
stage shows featuring some of the best Folk Music in America, plus some excellent arts and
craft stores. A few miles away is Blanchard Springs Caverns, a majestic series of caves
and caverns rivaling Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico in size and beauty.
